I have just switched to fluxbox0.9.10-r4(or trying to) from KDE and I would really like to have some icons on my desktop.
rox-desktop worked perfectly but I didnt like the way it "took over" the
Desktop so I prefer the idesk and fbdesk way better(just display icons).

rox is displaying every image/icon ok but neither idesk or fbdesk displays png/svg icons correctly.

The result on idesk0.5.6 with png and svg-icons:
the icon displays with only one color(transparancy works) and every window i drag over it copy itself onto the icon.(like the icon never repaint itself). No error mess and the icon "works"

The result on fbdesk1.2.1 with png:
The icons shows-up ok(multicolor and repaints ok) but transparancy is borked. looks like you painted the icon on some gray background.
No error mess and the icon "works"

I dont know whats wrong, maybe something in the png-lib but then again - rox(and kde) works perfect with these icons. I was thinking of installing gnome just to see if that helps(I saw a gnome use flag on idesk), but I think thats overkill for now.

So has anyone some idea what can be wrong (Im running amd64 btw)?
Any idea/sugestion is more than welcome!

Thanks!

PS. I can provide screenshots if wanted

This might be a problem with fbsetbg. Try running 'fbsetbg -i'
