I've got a laptop, HP N5190 to be exact. The mouse pad has 3 buttons, left, right, then a middle one that's actually up and down. It does the same thing (or is suppost to do the same thing) as a wheel on a mouse.

How do I get this to work? I doubt there are drivers for this particular mouse, but there's gotta be a way to get it to work. I use flux on this laptop, so it'd be REALLY handy with desktop switching.

Anyone have any idea how I can get it to work?

Thanks,

I wonder if this is similar to the Sony VAIO's jog dial? There are various places on the web that document that one, and if it is, what I got from some of the sites was just to add
Code:
ZAxisMapping 4 5
in the X config. But they also mention that you need to compile in the sonypi interface, so I'm assuming its for the Sony VAIO only.

I have a Compaq Presario *sig*, and it also has a similar function at the bottom of the touchpad. I never bothered trying to get it working though. Let us know if you ever figure out, sorry I can't be of more help, though!
