From here

I gather that Intersil PrismIndigo, PrismGT and PrismDuette cards (802.11a/802.11g) are the superman of all WiFi cards on Linux. I have never used one before and I would like to know what you guys are using and if it's stable/easy to setup ^^.
Thank you. |

If you're running an amd64 setup in 64bit anything with an Atheros (madwifi-driver) chipset is a no go |

I have an SMC2835W wich runs flawlessly on my laptop with the prism54 drivers (they are on kernel). They're preety cheap and have a great performance.
Funny Side-note: I have a friend who has a dual-boot on his laptop and he has never been hable to get the card to work right on windows (Divine justice i'd say ) _________________ --> Linux ### 2.6.11-ck2 #1 Sat Mar 12 20:21:30 WET 2005 i686 GNU/Linux <-- |
