hmm... somebody tell me if this exists

I was playing around with devil's pie yesterday and today.
and then I installed evolution-2 to compare to thunderbird that I'm already using...
the lack of systray support by both programs is annoying!!!
I don't even need any special menu from the systray icon, just the ability to hide these programs in systray to keep them running

good thing there's New Mail Icon extension for thunderbird, but just not good enough

is there a program that'll always have an icon in systray and each time I double click it, it'll do exactly what devil's pie can do: hide from tasklist, hide from pager, minimize it (essentially making it dissappear)
and if I double click again, unhide from tasklist and pager and restore the window
