i have an ipw2200 and use the native drivers in portage (not ndiswrapper).
the card shows up as eth1.
now when i boot, there is a message that net.eth1 is being stopped during the boot runlevel. why is that? eth1 gets stopped during shut down, so this doesn't seem to be a cleanup of leftover things. |
