|
|
Hi. I just emerged pypanel and I have to admit, it looks good with openbox one question though, the notification area is not transparent...I mean, say I have gaim running, the background for its icon in the notification area is not transparent, I looked at .pypanelrc and didn't seem to find something related to it...
any ideas how I can make it transparent?

works transparently here out of the box
you need to set your background with a "proper" bacground setter like Esetroot from the Eterm package |

I'll try again with a diff program, I'm using xsetbg to set my background.
the only thing thats not transparent is the notification area, so worse comes to worse, I take it out (disable the notification area in pypanelrc).
thanks for yr reply. |

My notification panel is transparent, but only some of the icons. So I think it is an issue with the app that puts the icon in the panel not using an icon with an alpha channel. _________________ Ladies and Gentlemen... we are floating in space. |
