when I am trying to make a livecd, in the stage 1, I am getting the following error.

!!! catalyst: LiveCD stage1 build aborting due to error.
!!! catalyst: could not complete build

What gives?

Also, when I rerun catalyst, it's recompiling everything again, although I have pkgcache option enabled in catalyst.conf. Is there a way to make it use the compiled binaries?

Is there a way to make it use the host system's binaries?

:?

is there a way to take the gentoo livecd .. add and remove some packages and create a new livecd ?
