Code: | # telnet localhost 6566
Trying 127.0.0.1...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused |

I can't get it running either, but in your case, you need to verify that saned even spawns a listener. I have found that I have to run saned in debug mode (saned -d128) for a listener to even occur. Secondly, saned only runs and disconnects once a client has connected and finished with him, so you will need to look into using xinetd or inetd to ensuring it restarts the service.

Thanks, but it works good now. There was just a problem in the configuration of xinetd. |
