I can't seem to get my mouse working correctly when I enter into XFCE4 for some reason. I use GDM and added the xmodmap and imwheel lines to my .xinitrc file but still have to run the commands once I enter XFCE4. Does anyone have any idea how I can get this working or if I am doing something wrong? _________________ That rank under my username doesn't mean I know everything, it just means I ask a lot of questions. |

does the mouse move but not the scrool function work? If that is the case add the line Code: | Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" | to your xorg.conf file below all of the lines about the mouse in the input device section. _________________ I think that the forums are the greatest thing about Gentoo, thanks to everyone that posts on them!

No, I mean everything works fine but I have to manually run the xmodmap and imwheel commands once XFCE4 has started, even though they are in my .xinitrc file. Once I do it works perfectly. _________________ That rank under my username doesn't mean I know everything, it just means I ask a lot of questions. |
