Hello,
I messed up my XF86Config-4 file.
Now the computer seams to crash, when starting xfree.
And it does start automatically when booting (I am using gdm).
How can I avoid starting xfree to fix the problem from the console?
Regards:
Uwe

pass 'single' as a kernel parameter. This will boot you into a root prompt. _________________ ~~ Peter: Programmer, Mathematician, STEM & Free Software Advocate, Enlightened Agent, Transhumanist, Fedora contributor

Yes, I appended "single" to the second line of my grub configuration, and it worked.
Thanks a lot:
