i think there was an article in anantech i think which showed the software raid only increased disk io by 20% in real apps, i stiped five 1gig scsi disks and wasnt that impressed, that said i was more concerned about the heat and noise the bloody things generated _________________ Giay tay nam | Giay nam cao cap | Giay luoi |

Yes that is (almost) true, but when (un)rar'ing, converting (bins, isos, and so on) and stuff like that there is a BIG diffrence.
I wouldn't trade my raid0 for anything. |
