i want to go back to default setting i have screwed up konqueror. i have unmergeing kde and emeging kde again still settings stay |

Remove the .kde folder in your home directory, and then restart kde.
Note: This will remove all your kde settings... _________________ No-one's more important than the earthworm. |

Do you run everything as root? That's generally considered a bad idea... anyway, the .kde folder will be in the directory you get to when you first log in. You won't see it unless you do ls -A, because files that start with a dot are hidden on *nix systems. _________________ No-one's more important than the earthworm. |

You could also re-run the desktop configuration wizard
I think its under kmenu - settings |
