Win2VNC - Mouse wheel under Gnome

I seem to have a somewhat unique problem. I'm trying to use win2vnc to connect to my gentoo gnome box. Plugged directly into the gentoo box is a MX500 usb. I've already edited my xorg.conf and all the needed buttons are working on it.

On my windows box I have a MX1000. When I use win2vnc I lose my mouse wheel as well as the side buttons.

Does win2vnc even support the mousewheel? If so any ideas on what needs to be tweaked? Thanks for any help in advance.
