Hi, Forum.

Hab hier grade ein kleines Problem beim Updaten:
emerge -uDp --newuse --tree system wrote:

-------8<----------------8<------------
[nomerge ] app-arch/bzip2-1.0.2-r3
[ebuild R ] sys-libs/glibc-2.3.4.20040808-r1
[ebuild N ] sys-kernel/linux26-headers-2.6.8.1
[nomerge ] sys-apps/baselayout-1.9.4-r6
[ebuild N ] sys-kernel/linux-headers-2.4.21-r1

Da ich keinen 2.4er Kernel mehr verwende, sehe ich keinen Grund, mir die entsprechenden Headers auf's System zu holen. Wenn ich das Paket aber maskiere, schreit portage. Was tun?

Bin dankbar für jede Idee.

Höh? Normalerweise blockieren sich linux-headers und linux26-headers gegenseitig, komisch dass er beide installieren will..
Welche Header sind denn momentan installiert, wie es aussieht gar keins? Installiere mal die 26-headers und guck dann nochmal, was er installieren will..

Genau das ist ja mein Problem. Sry, ich hab vergessen das zu erwähnen bzw. ging wohl nicht explicit aus meinem Post hervor. Ich versuche grade mittels

die Abhängigkeit zu lösen, bin mir aber nicht sicher, ob das der richtige Ansatz ist ... mal sehn.

Loesung des Problems:
Meine make.profile (1.4) war depraced. Nach neuem Verlinken auf 2004.0 und bash-restart ( env-update && . /etc/profile ) hat dich das Problem erledigt.
