Hi there:)

I got captive successfully installed with ebuilds from bugzilla. Write-support seems to work too. I mounted the NTFS-partition via lufis and edited a .txt file. Only under Windows the .txt file has changed into an invisible system file, which can't be renamed or deleted. It is still readable though. Do you have any idea, how this could happen and how I can solve this problem?

I used captive a while ago, and after I renamed a directory, that directory and everything under it acted as if they were read only.

I found that I could use the command prompt to rename and delete files in that directory. I also found that if I left the command prompt open and in that directory, windows explorer would work correctly again.

I have *no* clue why it worked this way, it doesn't make much sense.

cheers...

I suspect it is file permission problem. But I haven't tried Captive.

I couldn't change the file's permissions as well..
Finally I ran chkdisk /f and it removed the dead files entry.. Shouldnt have happened though.. :?
