Installing KDE - fails at qt compile

I have been trying to compile KDE for use with emerge, but it always fails compiling qt-3.3.3. It is failing compiling qrichttext.o, with an Error 1. It then says the bug is not reproduceable and may be a hardware fault.

I'm using gcc 3.3.4.

I've looked around in the forums and haven't found anything quite like this. Also, I have compiled kde a little over a month ago. I tried an emerge world and it failed so I reinstalled gentoo, done an emerge world, then tried emerging KDE once again, and it is failing with the same error.

Anyone have any ideas?
