I just finished installing Gentoo, and when I boot up I get this error : | Code: |
FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.9-gentoo-r1/modules.dep: No such file or directory |
Can anyone explain what this is and how to fix it? |

Try this:
modules-update back in chroot! It wiill update your modules and thn it might work, if you had corrected compiled kernel. |

I just chrooted back in. Immediately after I did, I typed modules-update. I rebooted and still got the same error. Somthing tells me I should have done something before typing modules-update.

In terminal (chroot)
cd /usr/src/linux
make modules && make modules_isntall
exit
And try boot the gentoo now |
