|
Hi!
how about a rescue system that can be booted via grub?
It would be an easy way to check corrupted filesystems etc.
I think the coolest way would be a complete rescue system installed in a ram disk and located in /boot
I think it has not to be optimized or so but should include basic tools to rescue a linux system (like filesystem check etc...)
It would be nice to have an .ebuild for this, so it's easy to install and maintain (similar to memtest.bin or so)
What do you think about it?
Bye
