Hi I am running
k3b 0.11.17
cdrtools 2.01
kde3.3
dma is set
gentoobox jamey # hdparm /dev/hdc
/dev/hdc:
HDIO_GET_MULTCOUNT failed: Invalid argument
IO_support = 1 (32-bit)
unmaskirq = 1 (on)
using_dma = 1 (on)
keepsettings = 0 (off)
readonly = 0 (off)
readahead = 256 (on)
HDIO_GETGEO failed: Invalid argument
but for some reason as soon as I start to burn a cd now my buffer just starts dumping to the cd. It empties but then fillls a little and burns some more. I am getting like 7 times speed out of a 40x burner. It just burns a little waits burns a little waits and so on until the cd is finished. The cd does work when its done but its annoying. My burning worked fine before and since it has been a while since I burned a cd I am not sure what changed. Can someone please help me? |
