now when i boot up i run top and it doesn't show any swap space. I run swapon /dev/ataraid/disc0/part4 and viola top shows swap. Why?? this seems odd to me since I have a line in /etc/fstab: /dev/ataraid/disco/part4 none swap sw 0 0 any help would be great!!nks tha

try edit /etc/fstab and change from /dev/SWAP to ur /dev/hdXX
