|
|
Hello
If I set the graphic settings to normal in UT2004 I get some very bad graphic errors after some time in the game. If I put the settings to low or lower the errors are away. The other graphic settings are completely off.
Here my specs:
IBM ThinkPad T42
ATI Radeon 9600 Mobile with fglrx 3.14.6 (FSAA: off)
XFree 4.3
Kernel 2.6.9-ck2
512 MB Ram, no swap
Any ideas? |

Seems to be another issue with the ati drivers, I get the same display corruptions with my 9800pro. |

well there is a new driver (3336) the link was posted at alien swarm. It fixes the dynamic lighting (meaning us linux users that play AS now get torch light!!!!)
it might fix this... |

No Alien swarm is a mod for UT2004 (the best mod out there).
There has been a running problem with it on linux abt teh dynamic lighting effect that is used for the torch addon.
The link to th epatch was posted in the AS forum.
I was just saying there is a new patch on the horizon and it might help you (it helped me with AS) no need to get all arsy with me... |
