Does anyone know how to update KDE with changes made in FDISK to resize a HD?
In Info Center and in Partitions, it shows a 6 gib HD, but I'm running a 40 GB HD. FDSIK shows the correct partitions. I've updated the system, portage, etc...

Any Ideas?

Thanks

KDE just reads those values from the underlying system.
I suggest searching for documentation about resizing filesystem:
for instance do 'man resize2fs' to know how to use resize2fs to resize an ext2 or ext3 partition.
