Has anyone noticed that once you have invoked the 'find' bar in Firefox you can't turn it back off? An earlier rc release had an 'X' button on the right side of the bar (to close the bar) but this disappeared with rc2.
How do you exit this bar short of restarting the browser? (It's not that big of a deal but it does take up valuable real estate when not needed.) |

Whaddayaknow. You're right, there is a (hidden) button there! The button itself is not visible (on mine at least) but a mouseover does reveal the ALT text "Close find bar'.
Do you see an actual button on your bar? |

Yes. I'm at the computer lab so at least the Windows version shows the actual button. _________________ Jab.ID: scottk@jabber.org

also, if you have removed your close button for the tabs in userChrome.css, this applies for the find bar too. a click in the find textbox and then hitting espace works... _________________ geek by nature, linux by choice
