Watching TV with Pinnacle PCTV Sat XE

the card works. i went through half of the mythtv docu, i played around a bit with mythsetup, i even ran mythfilldatabase --manual for the 4th time now (takes about 1h to grab the damn channels). every time i got another error. i'm quite discouraged, do i really need to enter the data of all those countless channels by hand? i wonder if i even need to know their exact frequency...

after all i only want to watch tv? why is this so damn complicated?
