I have two window managers loaded, KDE3.3.1 and XFCE4.1.91. I am having some problems with XFCE4, so for now KDE is my preferred desktop of choice.
The problem is that whenever I put my user name into KDM, the "Previous" WM defaults to XFCE4 even if I last used KDM. As this is a new setup but using an older /home folder, I suspect that I have a permissions problem in the file that holds the details of my last use of KDM.
Can anyone tell me what file it is? I have been searching for it and it doesn't seem to be in any of the obvious places. Thanks!
EDIT: Problem fixed. The file is ~/.dmrc and somehow it had got root permission... _________________ Gentoo, PCLOS-pre-81a and Windows 98SE.
