Is there a possibility to use an image file of a whole hard disk (including partition table and some partitions) in a way, so that linux reads its partition table and exports its partitions under /dev for later mounting these partitions ? |

To my knowlegde the problem is getting Linux to read the partition table and export the partitions as devices. Is it be possible to use NBD (network block device). Could I export a file as a NBD and then mount it on the same computer. |
