Hi,

with the help of a friend I finally finally got Freevo working on my Shuttle using an ATI Radeon 7500 and a s-video-to-composite-adapter on the TV :lol:

My USE-Variables are fbcon fbdev directfb among others...
I also had to emerge DirectFB, libsdl and DISABLE all ati graphics crap in the gentoo-dev-sources config and use a
video=vesafb:ywrap,pmipal,1024x768-32@50
Kernel parameter in grub.conf.

...some details just for someone who's wondering how to setup radeon fb support. I can post more if needed :wink:

Here's my problem now:
In freevo.conf I've set up
Code:

display=fbdev

When I start a video mplayer won't switch to fullscreen. It doesn't react on my f-Key and also doesn't use this
Code:

MPLAYER_ARGS = {'default' : '-fs'}

in local_conf.py.
When I use
Code:
MPLAYER_ARGS = {'default' : '-vo directfb -fs'}

mplayer doesn't start at all :?

I tried this -vo directfb 'cause I found out that I can use mplayer directly from console with this video out device and I can switch to fullscreen then as I want it. :roll:
