Hi there,
i have a "Mobility Radeon 9000 igp" in my notebook.
after following the dri-howto, and setting up the cvs drivers, my xorg thinks my direct rendering is enabled, but glxinfo and quake1 (rocks) don't notice it.
i append some of my system specs, maybe someone can find the problem, because i'm absolutly clueless.

Thx in advance

Kahless

Try looking through this faq:
http://odin.prohosting.com/wedge01/gentoo-radeon-faq.html
Make sure you have followed all the steps there to setup the drivers. I think it should work even though you have igp (which means on-board right?). It is currently more complete than the Gentoo docs and should have answers to a lot of problems you might run into.
