Ho questo piccolo problema:
Dopo un sync e un emerge -vDu world mi chiede di downgradare questo:

Il fatto è che se fo un downgrade con la stessa naturalezza di prima emerge mi chiede di rimettere la versione aggiornata...
why?
Ho provato a fare un po di ricerca tra le dipendeze con unclepine ma non ho trovato niente di strano (a parte che gst-plugins dipende da se stesso...)
è un bug?

è uguale perchè mi si blocca nel cercare le dipendenze...
piuttosto mascherando via via tutti i file che mi venivano proposti come "
dependency required by" sono arrivato a mascherare tutti questi...
=media-libs/gst-plugins-0.8.2
=media-plugins/gst-plugins-vorbis-0.8.2
=media-plugins/gst-plugins-ogg-0.8.2
=media-plugins/gst-plugins-flac-0.8.2
=media-plugins/gst-plugins-mad-0.8.2
=gnome-extra/gnome-media-2.8.0
Chiaramente l'ultimo mi viene richiesto da gnome 2.8.0-r1 e mi costringerebbe a mascherare pure quello...
Non capisco dove stia il problema... è un problema di qualche ebuild scazzato nello gnome nuovo?
Tra l'altro... a cosa serve gst-plugins? e gst?

ora devo togliere anche esd?!?! A parte il fatto è che anche questo ultimo non so di preciso che sia (dev'essere il sound demon di qualche applicazione come arts per kde ma non so di preciso... è qualcosa di gnome?) non penso che sia la strategia giusta per risolvere il problema...
Penso che sia una questione di ebuild scritti male...
Non è che capita anche a qualcun'altro?

Sono arrifvato alla conclusione che siano i plugin di gst (vorbis, etc...) che richiedono la versione 8.2. Questo penso accada perche' la versione .5 di tali plugins è mascherata... che fare? smascherarli in attesa di novità? ora provo e vi faccio sapere

Risolto, ma non in maniera elegantissima:
basta mettere questo in /etc/portage/package.keywords
