|
|
After successfully emerging openoffice-ximian-1.3.6 and start it and the "Installation program for OpenOffice.org 1.1.3" comes up and wants to install into my home directory. After clicking through some screens it starts the install process and start giving me copying errors.
Code: |
An error occurred while copying the file sopatchlevel.sh to /home/hholcomb/OpenOffice.org1.1.3/program.
|
If I click "Ignore" it has more files that it can't copy. Anyone know what this problem is?

Openoffice-ximian just finished installing and works just fine,
ie. no complaints whatsoever as in your case.
Maybe try moving any previous directories Openofficexxxx, .openoffice,
and .xopenoffice and try starting again. |

Solved.
I tried "installing" it as workstation instead of the other option (forgot what it was called, it copyed to my local directory). Works fine now.

Has anybody gotten 1.3.6 to install with GCC 3.4.x? |
