fonts problem

sometime recently, and I cannot put an exact time or date on it, fonts became really small.

kde 3.3.1, gnome 2.8.0-r1, xorg-x11-6.8.0-r1 - what other info is needed to sort this i dunno.

all fonts in all apps just seemed to shrink majorly, leaving me squinting. I don't want to fiddle and break it more, some help & guidance would be appreciated.[/url]

did you read the font guides that are on www.gentoo-wiki.com ?
you also should check if you set your monitor dimensions in xorg.conf.

Thanks, that looks excellent, but whats annoying is that they suddenly changed for no good reason and i cannot figure out why. I may reconfigure Xorg and fonts from scratch.
