I'm learning latin, wondering if anybody can speak it.
Course, I guess it's hard to speak latin when there are no words for anything that was invented after the language died. _________________ word. |

Oh, but there are. The Vatican's "Latin Foundation" makes sure modern terminology gets reflected in Latin, still used as a lingua franca inside the Roman-Catholic church. The Lexicon Recentis Latinitatis should answer most questions you may have. |

Hi!
I had been studying it for 5 years (1991-1996): it Italy it's compulsory if you choose certain high school types (scientific or classic lyceum). Anyhow, I don't remember that much. Interesting language (lingua pulchra maybe), though.
