eken@magi ~ $ eject
not an sg device, or old sg driver
eject: unable to eject, last error: Inappropriate ioctl for device

What to do?

try to pass explicitly device name ie. eject /dev/cdrom, note that for example:
Code:
eject /dev/tty1
not an sg device, or old sg driver
eject: unable to eject, last error: Z³y argument
