Gentoo on a PC104 Plus board

Hi,
I apologize if the question has been asked before. I'm seriously considering installing gentoo on a PC104 plus board, with a 1 GB microdrive and 512 MB of RAM. The board has a Pentium-M class CPU running at 1.1 GHz. Now for those who might have no clue about what a PC104 board is, its basically a motherboard 90mm-by-96mm in dimension. I plan to use this board inside a robot, to do vision processing using a framegrabber. There are no (at least hard) real time requirements.

Any tips, suggestions, pointers etc will be greatly appreciated.
