i emerged rox ,atm i am using genome-session with gdm as wm for some reason i cant see rox on my session menu ... what should i do
rox is installed :)

Well, the rox ebuild does not include ROX-Session, etc. it only has ROX-Filer (which is the main portion of rox anyway). But filer runs well enough ontop of your window manager of choice, which is what it would be doing if you used ROX-Session anyway (contrary to what has been posted on the forums several times, rox is NOT a window manager). If you wanted to for example rum ROX-Filer on top of fluxbox, you should put something like this in you .xsession file:

/usr/bin/rox -b=PANEL &
/usr/bin/fluxbox
This will start rox with a panel on the bottom of the screen and fluxbox as your window manager. You can of course, mess around with the rox options to your liking.
