|
|
I haev minicom 2.1 install on a Gentoo System w/ a USB serial device installed. I am using it to gain access to a bunch of gear at a remote location. I have it working for Cisco routers and firewalls without a problem. I have one device that I am having problems with and a little lost on what direction to go. I have confirmed that everything works with this device from a windows machine.
19200 8N1 VT100.
Yet, all I get is garbage from the device. Windows machine, working fine. Minicom, no go.
Anybody have any thoughts on this? |

A follow up:
I think I have found the problem or atleast have narrowed it down a bit. I have 2 4 port whitehat USB serial boxes. Basicly, anything on the second whiteheat doesn't work right if the speed is above 9.6k very odd. So I guess I an going to look for a better USB/Serial solution. |
