hab da ein kleines Problem beim emergen von xfree. Obwohl in den cflags -march=pentium4 eingestellt ist, wird nur mit pentium3 optimierung compiliert. Betreffen tut dies die Versionen 4.2.1 und 4.2.1-r2. Wenn man sich den konsolen-output ansieht steht dort gcc -march=pentium3. Der Xfree mit p3 Optimierung funktioniert zwar auf einen p4, aber es kommt zu Initialisierungsfehler bei dem Graphikchip.
Die Versionen 4.2.1-r1 und alle 4.2.99 liefen dagegen mit pentium4 Optimierung durch. Und die Version 4.2.1-r1 funktioniert auch tadellos.
Meine CFLAGS="-O3 -march=pentium4 -fomit-frame-pointer -mmmx -msse -msse2"
