i have no clue about hot to configure a gentoo client to remotely login using yellowpages.... any useful url in your bookmarks?

my I ask what you are trying to do and what yellowpages is? I've never heard of it. There may be an easier way of doing what you want. _________________ I think that the forums are the greatest thing about Gentoo, thanks to everyone that posts on them!

yellowpages (yp) = nis
or rather...
NIS used to be known as yellowpages (and in many places still is). That's why many of the NIS server bits were/are called yp<something>
Sun had problems with copyrights or trademarks or something, apparently.
