I know there have been multiple posts regarding this card, but after searching and finding nothing, I figured I'd see if anyone else is having my same problem...

essentially the deal is this...I live in an appartment complex with roughly 10 wireless networks accessible by my computer. Which would be fine if my card would stay with my network, but over and over again my card will "freeze up" so to speak, losing connection to the internet. Either both the orange and green lights will remain solid, or the orange will turn solid and the green will blink, and when (I should say if) it automatically restarts itself, then it uses the wrong wireless router.

So my problem is two-fold. The biggest is that the card keeps "freezing" and becomes unusable, the other is that after this happens, it won't log back on to my network. If anyone has any thoughts I would be really greatful. Having to Ctrl-C and restart emerges because the download freezes is getting rediculous. If this helps, I'm running 2.6.9-ck3, and this card uses the prism54 driver.

Bump

Just wanted to clarify the other post also. The card that I'm using doesn't just loose connection to the router (due to bad connection or whatever), it actually stops working (the thing with the lights that I mentioned in the first post) to the point where I have to physically remove it from the pcmcia slot and reinsert it for it to even start working again.

What are you using? ndiswrapper? wpa_supplicant? post your configs
