|
|
In the move to a production system I will need to change the domain name, so here's the plan.
first backup LDAP databases
Code: | slapcat > mydomain.ldif |
next delete all the bdb ldap databases
modify the ldif file to reflect the change to the domain name.
delete all the samba tdb files
modify smb.conf
import mydomain.ldif into ldap
redefine samba groupmappings.
finish.
What do you think? Did I miss anything? |

Don't all jump in at once. |
