So here's my deal. I've got a hateful box with RedHat 9 on it that I can't just drop replace with Gentoo no matter how much I want to. I'm running MySQL 4.1, Apache 2.0.52 and PHP 4.3.9 on there. I need PHP4 for Egroupware 1.0006 to work properly on it (already tried 5 and the Trouble Ticket system is completely b0rked and we need that one)
Basically what happens is Apache2 segfaults everytime I try to go to anything related to FudForum. The error log (shown below) is "Oh so helpful" in this case...

Code:
[Mon Nov 22 15:35:36 2004] [warn] module dav_module is already loaded, skipping
[Mon Nov 22 15:35:36 2004] [notice] Digest: generating secret for digest authentication ...
[Mon Nov 22 15:35:36 2004] [notice] Digest: done
[Mon Nov 22 15:35:36 2004] [notice] Apache/2.0.52 (Unix) configured -- resuming normal operations
[Mon Nov 22 15:35:51 2004] [error] [client 192.168.38.159] File does not exist: /var/www/html/favicon.ico
[Mon Nov 22 15:36:05 2004] [notice] child pid 26920 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
[Mon Nov 22 15:36:05 2004] [notice] child pid 26921 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
[Mon Nov 22 15:36:06 2004] [notice] child pid 26922 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

I've tried to attach gdb to apache (that was a merry little chase of my tail) and finally got it attached. And then apache just wouldn't serve pages so I'm not sure how to get a backtrace for peeps. Help on that front would also be appriciated.

Another oddity is that if I set egroupware to NOT use persistant connections to the DB then NOTHING (including login.php) works.

Anyone have an idea as to what's going on with this?

Thanks,

Petyr
