Ill need to get my serial port com1 to work. but when I typ this as root Ill got this msg
| Code: | echo >/dev/ttys0
-bash: /dev/ttys0: Input/output error

But I have checked my drivers in kernel and it seems like I have chosen the right thing. I have searched at this forum and tested it with everything Ill found.
At the kernel choises I choose Device drivers -> character devices -> Serial drivers -> *8250/16550 and compatible serial support.
and 4 at maximum number...
Is there something I have forgat to marked?
And I have read about ttyS0 and so on with a capitiled "S"
Plz help...

the code you posted is wrong, in effect it's ttyS0.
Try to help yourself using bash completion.
