Ciao, qualcuno ha mai avuto un crash totale di gentoo?
A me è capitato poco fa ed è una cosa assolutamente orrenda.
L'unico modo per riavere indietro il pc è un bel tieni premuto il tasto rosso e attendi che il pc si spenga.
Un'altra cosa inspiegabile è che quando questo avviene la cpu schizza a mille.
Che sia un qualche problema del mio pc?

Boh, inizia a raccontare cosa stavi facendo, se eri in X, se usavi Gnome/KDE, se stavi masterizzando/guardando film/giocando a qualcosa/programmando in C...
E si, come chiesto dal collega, usi driver proprietari per la scheda video? Che scheda? Che versione di Xorg? _________________ Ciao da me! |

Avevo appena emerso firefox-bin, e mi era crashato appunto usandolo, ma non credo che fosse quello, perchè mi era capitata una cosa simile quando avevo inserito la penna usb qualche settimana fa.
Ho una ATI-Radeon 9000 mobility con driver ati.

Quindi, in linea di massima si può escludere quel problema.... anche se mi sa che stiamo uscendo dal campo delle cose "quasi sicure" per entrare nel campo della sfiga....

si, pure a me...
si crashava che era un piacere... se lanciavo qualche applicazione da terminale, crashava inesorabilmente con in I/O error...
ci ho messo 2 giorni a capire che era xfs che m'aveva abbandonato...
nel mio caso... riavvio da liveCD e
