|
|
I have searched the forum but couldn't find a answer to my question.
I have a SoundBlaster 512. I'm trying to get sound from my rear speakers but I don't get anything. Kmix is telling me that I have a PCM and a PCM2 so the emu10k1 driver (compiled into the kernel) did notice a second soundsource.
I have taken a look into /dev and saw that there's only one device in there. /dev/dsp and no /dev/dsp1. I believe this is wrong.
Can anyone help me with this problem? I'm using a 2.6.8.1 kernel |

Non of those was the problem. I have recompiled my kernel. This time with the oss modules instead of the alsa modules. The oss modules do support the rear speakers. |
