Hello, I am having a porblem getting startx to run as user. It works find as root. I get the

FX86OpenConsole must be in suid to run

error. I think it has something to do with the fact that I emrged all of this as root. Is there something in the config file? I check around a lot online and I have a $HOME/..Xauthority file. I think is has to do with a config setting that I didn't know how to change... please someone help me, I am thinking this is something really small and i have been trying for days, thanks...

This is the log file for X

Don't know why you are still using XFree86. Unmerge it and
Code:
#emerge xorg-x11
#xorgconfig

Also read documentation at http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/xorg-config.xml
