Hello all,
I have a normal ut2004 here which i mounted. then I emerged ut2004 no problems there...
But when I try to play the game I get a:
Code: |
justin $ ut2004
WARNING: ALC_EXT_capture is subject to change!
appMsgf(): Your CD key appears to be invalid. You will need to reinstall the game and enter your CD key to fix this problem.
Signal: SIGTRAP [trap]
Aborting.
Crash information will be saved to your logfile.

I googled/searched here and they say there should be a file /opt/ut2004/System/cdkey....
But that file does not exist on my sytem... I didn't have to enter the cdkey anywere I do have it on the box here. So were can I put the key? |

I suggest you re-merge ut2004 and read the messages portage spits out at the end of it. You'll be surprised how useful it is.
But, to save you the trouble:
Code: |
You MUST run this before playing the game:
ebuild /var/db/pkg/games-fps/ut2004-3323/ut2004-3323.ebuild config
That way you can [re]enter your cdkey.
