Hi,
I've just noticed that when my system running 2.6.9-gentoo-r6 boots it looks for a module called "uchi-hcd" during the "scanning for modules" part of booting. Obviously this module doesn't exist - it should be "uhci-hcd" - so it complains that it hasn't found it. This might explain why I have to load uhci-hcd from /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6 to get my mouse detected.
Is this a bug? I've been trying to find the file/program that attempts to find "uchi-ucd" on my system but I can't - anybody know where I should be looking?
Thanks in advance,
Mike. |
