Hi,
I made the mistake of running the following command:
chown -R apache:apache /var/www*
How can I setup the permissions correctly?
I think the apache2 process is running as apache, why do i get a permission error in the log file.
Thanks. |

Hello jakeWSYSA,
I emerged apache2 yesterday.
In my box, all directories under /var/www have owner root, group root, permissions drwxr-xr-x.
All files under /var/www have owner root, group root, permissions drw-r--r--.
