hi everyone!

how can i set the default printer that cups uses. i installed two printers on my machine. when i use ggv to print a ps file it just takes the default printer (no printer selection menu). how can i tell cups to use a different printer as default?

Point a browser to http://localhost:631. It is CUPS's config interface. Select your printer, and there will be an option to set it default.

However, after setting it it says that any user default that has been set via the lpoptions command will override this default setting.

So, after yo did it and it is not default, check if the program tries to override the default printer settings.
