I just don't get it. How do I tell K3B to use cdrdao instead of cdrecord?
When I make a new data cd project, add files to it and go to burn always cdrecord is used.

| Did you specified the proper burning backend with k3bsetup? |

Damn, I have found the option. It wasn't really hard to find, but I swear I did a search before I posted(not accurate enough, though). 
The option can be found under Settings->Configure K3b->Writing Settings->Advanced Tab and is called 'Manual writing application selection', which I overlooked. |
